Web Usability Interface Specialist

One of our clients has needs to fill and is currently looking for a WEB usability specialist who will ensure that their needs are met within our organization. The person who will fill this position will be part of the team and will play a central role in Quebec.

Minimum requirements for this position:

– Have an undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s) in the humanities (specifically cognitive science, psychology, or sociology) or in the field of information technology (computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering) or communications;
– Five years of experience in the development of information systems, including three years in the design of portals and Web sites;
– Three years of experience in defining information architecture, navigation menus, interfaces or user principles or rules;
– Participate in three customer-focused Web projects, one of which must be at least 1,000 d-p in scope;
– Have participated in at least one project for which customer consultations were conducted (usability tests, focus groups, etc.);
– Have participated in at least one project for which the web pages have integrated adaptive WEB design (responsive design) for the support of tablets and smartphones;
– Have actively participated in the design of a project for a public or parapublic sector organization whose website offered both informational, interactive and transactional services;
– Demonstrate knowledge of accessibility (standards).
